SAVE WALDEN LAKE

PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT & WHY WE’RE OPPOSED

Walden Lake LLC (WLLLC) are proposing 560 new residences 

  • 316 Ground Zero residences (Pod 70)  at the former Clubhouse location (including 280 townhomes & villas) 
  • Golf course residences with driveways backing onto new Pod 70 arterials

Why We Are Opposed To Rezoning  

  • We bought homes in a mature, fully-developed community. Integrated green-space afforded by the Country Club increases home-equity of all members. Development will slash home values. It is a violation of our implied rights.
  • Traffic on Clubhouse Drive will exceed capacity-Town Center arteries are a myth; stormwater outflow will threaten WLCA homes in the flood zone. (see WALDEN LAKE RULES (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sbWMzld2ybY)) 
  • It subjects residents to foreseeable, devastatingly adverse impacts both during and after development.
